STNL's 3rd Anniversary: Zeela

One thing that's changed since 2013 is Zeela Vordav. First introduced in July 2013 as just another crewmember, she quickly developed to become Jercy's main romantic interest and eventual wife.

With Holly Short having died in action (not really) a year before, there was a big hole missing onboard the Titan. As mentioned before, I initially created her just so we could have the first new member of the crew ever since the initial launch of the ship. Her backstory was that, due to a birth defect not allowing her to sing (her race, the Siranians, are well-known for their singing females); she was ostracized and rejected by the rest of her kind. When Jercy and co. came to find part of the Shadow Sword, she used the opportunity to escape her dreary life and see the stars.

As time went on, her character and backstory were developed. We learned she was part of an aristocratic family and second cousin to Empress Sireena, she had a MIA sister named Tressha, and Jercy took her because he fell in love with her at first sight; the latter unbeknownst to her until the Battle of the Typhonus Nebula. She became his girlfriend, and then got married in 2014. Although they conceived a child on Epindol, she later miscarried. :-(

She also developed friendships with the crew on the way, especially with Khrelan Galagat, a mysterious shapeshifting girl recruited during the Gavalantarus's execution of their Stratagem to retake the galaxy.

Well, that's a short summary of how she's changed over this last year or so.
